What’s In The Bag: Charlie Woods
Published: Last updated:
We delve into the bag of Charlie Woods and see what clubs he used playing with dad Tiger Woods at the PNC Championship
A popular time of year in the Woods household, as they make it a regular occurrence of appearing in the Annual PNC championship, with a star-studded field of past major champions it can be hard to win but that sure didn’t stop the pair from giving it their all and making plenty of father-son memories on the course.
Team Woods started Sunday two shots off of the lead, shot 7-under 65, and tied for eighth at 20-under in the 36-hole scramble event.
Charlie and Tiger managed to card a first-round 59 and had the chemistry flowing throughout the round bouncing off one another all day and pushing each other to play better golf.
Tiger and Charlie were asked what they have learned about each other’s games over the week. Tiger passed the question over to Charlie.
“I feel like I already knew what he was capable of, and then yesterday, that’s the best he’s ever played in a while, and that kind of shocked me a little bit. That’s really it.”
Tiger was fast to reply, “I used to be good.” and said, “It was neat to be able to roll back the clock for him to see what I used to be capable of.”
Charlie’s bag is made up of mainly TaylorMade equipment, most probably thanks to his dad being a brand representative. Similar to his dad he sports a Scotty Cameron blade that has become a staple in the bag of Tiger
Woods over the years and looks to be a fan of Charlie too.
Let’s take a deeper look into the bag of Charlie Woods.
