We delve into the equipment of Italian star Guido Migliozzi, whose dramatic victory at the French Open left him on track to make a home Ryder Cup debut.
An incredible run of nine birdies in 13 holes saw Guido Migliozzi seal a sensational one-shot victory in the Cazoo Open de France at Le Golf National, his third DP World Tour win and first since June 2019.
A stellar final round of 62 – which equalled Rasmus Hojgaard’s course record from the opening round – moved the 25-year-old from five shots back overnight, to win by one.

The Italian sealed his famous victory with a superb birdie on the final hole, thanks to a 192-yard approach over water that finished just six feet from the pin. Just two other players made a three on the final hole in the fourth round.
“The shot was something incredible. I went for it and it paid off. My caddie was not happy! It was not the real strategy but I felt I could try,” Migliozzi said.
Victory secured the Callaway and Odyssey staffer a €510,000 pay day and lifted him from 168th the cusp of the top 100 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

The French Open was the third event in the European Ryder Cup qualifying series and leaves Migliozzi with high hopes of making his debut on home soil at Marco Simone Country Club in Rome in 2023.
