It’s a little harder than the TP5, but its core ranges in compression from 25-55 from the centre out.

More distance
TaylorMade says the TP5X adds over 7 yards off the driver, and it was longer than the market leaders (in their own tests) when it comes to 5-iron distance.

High launch, low spin
The TP5X launches higher, but spins less, which means it flies further. It’s no surprise so many of TaylorMade’s players want these balls in their bag.

Soft feel
The lower spin properties come with a very slight reduction in feel compared to the TP5.
