What we say...
2013 Balls Test
JR: High spin across the board but with quite a firm feel. Control levels up there with higher-priced models.
JT: Incredibly soft feel, but some high spin rates too, especially with a wedge. Very good grab greenside.
KA: Lovely soft feel off the face, controllable. Got the spin I was looking for. Fantastic value, too.
The Callaway Hex Chrome+ golf ball is a four-piece ball for mid-to fast-swinging golfers who want long distance without sacrificing feel.
In any industry a manufacturer strives to achieve both performance and value for money, and with the Hex Chrome+ Callaway have hit that nail on the head. It feels powerful off the driver and flies like a distance ball, but performs like a premium offering around the greens. I was especially surprised with how softly it came off the face and grabbed on chip and pitch shots.
