Take a look inside the bag of two-time Major Champion and LPGA Tour star, Yuka Saso with Today’s Golfer
Yuka Saso has four professional victories under her belt, two wins on the LPGA Tour of Japan and two wins on the LPGA Tour.
Both of Saso’s victories on the LPGA Tour have been in the US Women’s Open. The two-time Major Champion was first crowned in 2021, and her most recent victory was at the 2024 US Women’s Open.
With her win at the 2024 US Women’s Open, Saso became just the fourth Japanese golfer to win a Major Championship in both the men’s and women’s game. Despite already being a Major Champion, when Saso won her first Major Championship she was representing the Philippines – her place of birth.
Ages just 22 years old, the Japanese international has become just the third golfer in history to earn her first two victories on the LPGA Tour in Major Championships.
After winning twice on the LPGA Tour of Japan in 2020, Saso joined the LPGA Tour as a rookie in 2021. Since becoming a member of the LPGA Tour, Saso has enjoyed two career victories and 18 top-10 finishes. I’m sure there’ll be more to come for this rising star…
