Today’s Golfer dives into the bag of amateur sensation, Neal Shipley, to discover what equipment he’s playing with.
Most of us in the golfing world are now very familiar with Neal Shipley. However, if you’re someone who isn’t and you’re currently asking – who is Neal Shipley – hopefully that article will help.
As the winner of the low amateur award at the 2024 Masters, Shipley burst onto the scene. He gained entry into the 2024 Masters and 2024 US Open after finishing as runner-up to Nick Dunlap in the 2023 US Amateur. Not terrible form from the American.
That 4&3 loss to now PGA Tour winner, Dunlap, also earned Shipley a place in the field for the 2024 US Open. His Major form is pretty impressive for an amateur golfer.
Shipley hasn’t particularly set the world alight on the amateur circuit, so far he has three victories, one in a professional event, one in a collegiate event, and one in an amateur event. However, he’s taken the decision to turn pro at the conclusion of the US Open and take to the PGA Tour.
With professional golf on the horizon for Shipley, let’s take a look at what equipment he’s currently using in 2024…
